[10:00am] Namaste Montessori School Community Garden Party
- Description:
- Namaste Montessori School will host a Community Garden Party on Sunday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families are invited to celebrate May Day and help prepare the school garden for spring planting. Events include May Pole dancing, music, a dish to pass lunch and snacks, games, and a silent auction fundraiser.
We will also work on a variety of garden projects including spreading woodchips on pathways, weeding and turning plots, repairing fences and cold frames, and building a chicken coop. All are welcome to join us.

- Travel “Off the Beaten Path” and celebrate Valentine’s Day with the wineries of the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake! On Saturday & Sunday, February 11 & 12, you are invited to attend this non-ticketed event (tasting fees may apply). Pick up a “passport” at any of the participating wineries, enjoy a day of wine and discovery, and receive “tokens of love” at each stop. Each $10 purchase at any winery earns you one raffle ticket with a grand prize of a $100 gift certificate at the Inns of Aurora. Participating wineries are: Six Mile Creek, King Ferry, Long Point, Bet the Farm, Dill’s Run, The Apple Station, Izzo’s White Barn, and CJS.

- Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties is partnering with Lowe's of Ithaca to get women involved with building Habitat houses. These monthly training clinics at Lowe's will teach women skills to use on the work site in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
